SIAHA, Feb. 21 (Maraland Today) - A new music video album dedicated to Mara and Chin Nationalists was simultaneously released in Northeastern state of Mizoram in India and Indianapolis, Indiana in United States.
In India the new music video album titled 'We will never forget (them) - My Thei Ma Pi' was released by Shri MH. Tiabi, Executive Member incharge of Revenue department, Mara Autonomous District Council (MADC) at New Skylinks Vision (NSV) Studio, New Colony, Saiha, Mizoram on Monday, 20 February 2012.
In the United States, the album was released by Dr. Za Hlei Thang, Chairman of Chin National Front (CNF) Supreme Council in Indianapolis, Indiana on 19 February 2012.
The singers in the album are drawn from four top artists in Maraland; two top artists each from West Maraland (Mizoram, India) and East Maraland (Chin State, Myanmar). It contains 11 songs, out of which 9 songs are patriotic songs, while the rest are a song dedicated to the Mara and Chin Nationalists who had sacrificed their lives for democracy in Myanmar; and one love song.
The two top artists from West Maraland are Mr. John Beizachhi Phuto and Miss Vasty T. Azyu, while those from East Maraland are Mr. L. Vabeiha and Miss Lai Mary.
At the back of the album is the picture of Mr. Se Hu (Sese), who was also the early member of Chin National Front (CNF), who died untimely at the age of 40 back in 2002 in New Delhi. The album is dedicated to him and all Chin nationalists who had sacrificed their lives for their country.
Mr. Se Hu is older brother of the album director and producer Mr. Vakhaitha Chhaihlo and U.S.-based Mara Chin scholar Salai Elaisa Vahnie.
The album was unveiled in DVD and CD formats. It was recoded at Ocean Sound & Records in Aizawl, Mizoram. The video shooting was done by Forever Video & Photo. The cover design are done by New Delhi-based Mr. Laitha.
The music video album is now available in all stores in Maraland.
